Party Update:  In order to honor the still standing burn ban and to protect the unburned portions of Texas, we will not be having fireworks at the party this year. We will still, however, have muchas BBQ and other good food, fun for the kids, a food fight, and, of course, we will still see superheroes fly. Bring water guns if you got them.

Truth, Justice, and the American Way

that is blowing everything we can lay our hands on to smithereens. This year the theme is Superheros. So come dressed as Captain America or bring action figures ready for flight. Also as usual bring your hapless vegetables and Barbie dolls. Up, up and away!

Note, however, that this occurs on Sunday, July 3 instead of July 4 this year. So bring your lawn chairs, coolers and any potluck style dish. We’ll be providing meat and drink. Bring all your family, your kids’ friends, and the next-door neighbors.
