The Bill Moore Memorial 4th of July Party

Bill Moore was a good friend for many of us, a coworker at PVI and the mastermind of the first 4th of July cooking shows. He first brought havoc to large melons in our backyard. And each year as he was able through hospitalizations and chemo, he attended the party. He died last month and we will miss him.

Our new Great Dane knows better than to get on the furniture, but this is where she went when the party started. And wouldn't leave.

Nitrogen Ice Cream

Mark Fergusen came through again with several new recipes of instant ice cream. The liquid nitrogen freezes the ice cream so quickly that it is uncommonly smooth. It was outstanding...like frozen frosting. There was much discussion over which was best: coconut, coffee or pure vanilla.

Harsh Interogation

Some of the boys at the party took it upon themselves to apply firecrackers to this Ken doll.

Tenacious Watermelon

An important event in the party is the destruction of a watermelon...this time in Bill's honor.
